Crail - The Village

Crail is a charming small historic fishing village in the East Neuk of Fife.

It is well served for amenities with three hotels (The Shoregate, Golf  and Balcomie) which serve meals, two cafes, a good greengrocer/fishmonger/deli, an excellent butcher, two small supermarkets, good chemist, a bakery and a fish and chip shop. These are all within a few minutes walking distance from the house.

There are two beaches, one at the harbour and one at Roome Bay (400 metres along the coast), tennis courts and two children play parks.

There are two golf courses at Balcomie (2 miles east along the coast).
